Rowayton Radio and TV was probably the first tenant at 158 Rowayton Avenue. In 1974 Rowayton Travel, founded by Jackie Whitridge and Dossie Sullivan, opened in this space. Gary and Kate Oberlin bought the business in the late 1980s. Next at this location came Carla’s Flower Box, owned by Carla Louise Mortelliti from 1996 until 2002, when Marianne McGovern opened the Rowayton Wine Shop, now located at 162 Rowayton Avenue.
